About Us

Best Exchange is part of the Currency Exchange Corporation, which was established in 1999, by its chairman and CEO Mr Mike Cooke, who had been a well known figure in the Foreign Exchange markets in the City since 1983. Mr Cooke has been widely credited with introducing Commission Free Foreign Exchange to the currency markets in London in the late 1980's; a policy which has been widely adopted over past two decades by Foreign Currency suppliers across the board. It is also a policy that has helped spur the remarkable growth of Best Exchange to becoming one of the most sought after Holiday Money specialists in the West End today. Mr Cooke's expertise has given Best Exchange the edge and the ability to offer its customers the best possible exchange deal when buying or selling Foreign Banknotes for business or pleasure. Today, our Hanover Street branch in W1 is widely known and acknowledged by tourists as well as corporate customers as the Foreign Banknote supplier of choice where customers stand to save money on each and every transaction. Further testament to its standing in the Forex markets is the fact that Best Exchange banknote trading services are enjoyed by some of the leading multinationals in London as well as some of the most well known High Street banks in the UK.

Why Us

We understand the need to make your money go further and take pride in our ability to obtain the most competitive Foreign Exchange rates available in the marketplace with you, the customer, in mind. It is indeed rare for a company to make a pledge of "We Beat Them All"; a bold statement of intent that represents the confidence that Best Exchange possesses in its ability to offer a much better exchange rate - whether you are buying or selling - on rates published nationally by any other supplier on any given day. These include the UK's leading High Street Banks, The Post Office, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury's and even speciality banknote suppliers like Travelex, Thomas Cook and American Express.
